Gentle Birth Doula and Postpartum Service

Birth Doula Services: I will be on call 24-hours for you during the 2 weeks on either side of your due date. I offer continuous support throughout labor and birth and for the first postpartum hours. I will also provide one postpartum visit and two prenatal visits. I also offer at a additional fee - Belly Casting and Birth photos. Postpartum Doula Services: Postpartum adjustment support. Routine newborn care and guidance or education of the mother in bathing, cord care, diapering, calming techniques, and newborn nutrition and development Light household tasks. Postpartum care and recovery of the mother. Sibling adjustment. Non-judgmental support of mother and family. Companionship. Referrals to community resources. Breastfeeding assistance. Care of older siblings. Accompanying mother and baby to pediatrician appointments. Answering the phone and taking messages. Time and help for mom and dad to settle into their new roles.
