I am a CAPPA trained Labor Doula providing labor doula services throughout all of Boulder County, in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.
It is my honor to be a Labor Doula. I have excellent references and have a sincere passion about being by the side of a laboring mother to lend support and empowerment.
As your doula, my job is to make sure i'm available to you whenever labor starts. As i'm sure you know, babies come when they want to, not when it's convenient. Because of this, I will be available to you 24 hours a day (via phone) beginning 2 weeks prior to your estimated delivery date, until labor starts. Of course, if you go into labor early, you'll need to call me so I can meet you wherever it is you may be delivering.
During labor, I will assist you with natural pain management through counter pressure, meditation, massage, and/or whatever options you prefer. My goal is to make sure you are as happy and comfortable as possible. There are a wide variety of medical pain management options available to you as well. I will make sure that you know about these options as well as their risks, so you can make an informed decision.
I will also assist you communicating with faculty staff, as well as other members of your birthing team. I will do whatever it takes to make sure that you're comfortable, feel safe and are kept well informed of all options that are available to you.

The Doula Association of the Mountain Area, DAMA, is an organization of professional doulas in the Western North Carolina region dedicated to providing the highest standard of support to expectant families, upholding a professional standard of doula service and educating the community about the benefits of doulas.
I am a certified birth doula who loves to support women in their gentle and joyful birth goals. I serve women in San Antonio, Texas and surrounding areas.
As your doula I will provide:
1. Assistance with birth planning, prenatal care, and birth partner preparation
2. 2-3 prenatal visits and at least 2 postpartum visits, depending on the need
3. Availability for phone consultations anytime during pregnancy and afterwards
4. Continuous labor support from early labor _as needed_ throughout the immediate postpartum period
5. Suggestions and support for pain coping techniques, positions during labor, calm birthing atmosphere, awareness of Mom___s changing needs
6. Assistance with parent-infant bonding, breastfeeding help as needed
7. Newborn and Mom care advice and assistance throughout the postpartum weeks
