A very special person
She taught me to clean
and to cook a good meal.
She took care of me,
when I was ill.
At Christmas time,
She'd buy me gifts.
She had the warmest hugs
and made things feel better.
She packed my lunch,
and set out my clothes.
She even wiped my runny nose.
I can tell her my secrets,
and know she'll abide.
To this day, I'll always love her,
She had a great name;
I call her mother
