The Baby in the Park
I saw a woman with a baby in her arms.
The baby looked at
me, and smiled.
I laughed, laughed, and laughed a little
more.
Why did I laugh? The smile on her face, I wanted to be a mother.
It hurt me deeply, so, I decided to adopt.
I laughed.
Now, I
sit in my bed, cradling my little baby boy, his name is
Prudence.
He is 2 months old, and I love him dearly.
My husband and I
decided that the reason we have Prudence today is because of that
woman and her child in the park. So I went to find her, and she
was still in the park. So I thanked her, and gave her daughter
a baby bonnet. The baby liked it.
Her name was Charlene. She was
1 year old. The baby laughed, then I laughed, and thanked her.
