You are someone that can't be left behind.
In my heart there's a place for you;

You taught me right from wrong and good from bad.
When I realize how much I miss you,

Grandma, you were my inspiration, my key to success,
Your personality was as gentle as a cool summer's breeze,
As much as I loved you, I never did confess.
When I came to your Florida place,
I'd swim in the pool,
And see your "glad to see you" happy face.
Your life I'll sadly say is in the past.
Your story will alwasy live on,
In my heart, body, and mind, you'll always last.
What you said and often did came straight from your heart.
We've been shopping, movies, and had lectures too,
What you did and said to me was always smart.
I always feel like I need to run and hide.
As much as I try to talk of your life,
My feelings for you are locked up inside.
