My Shadow Times Two
My yesterdays shadow that not so long ago stood lone.
Is now my today shadow that seems to have met a clone.
Two clones as a matter of fact, so small next to mine.
These shadows can be seen even if the sun does not shine.
It's a little ironic that shadows suppose to be so dark.
Are the special light in my life, my own little spark.
These shadows I hold close and know they will never leave.
For they are in my heart and soul so tightly weave.
I don't know what the future will hold for the two of them.
Maybe someday from the two of them little shadows will stem.
