A Parents Prayer
Dear Jesus, Keep our children safe,
As we send them off to school,
Help them learn the things they must,
And Live "The Golden Rule."
Help them KNOW that you ARE there,
Although you're NOT supposed to be,
You were kicked out long time ago,
So Non-Believers could be FREE.
Free to bring their guns to school,
Shooting ANYONE they dare,
Free to take another life,
Because they JUST DON'T CARE.
They shed the blood of innocence,
Because: They have a gripe, or two,
But, Would these acts of violence STOP,
IF you WERE allowed in school?
Dear Jesus, Keep our children safe,
AS ONLY YOU CAN DO,
Protect them with your mighty hand,
From violence in the school.
