My Zackie
As I sit here gazing at your picture
I think to myself, What a blessing that you are.
Your precious face and your rosebud lips.
Although you are far away, I can smell your sweet skin
and feel the touch of your gentle hand so dear.
The twinkle in your eyes and your curiosity overflowing,
Waiting for the day when you can fulfill them.
Not only do I see you, but also your Mommy and Daddy.
With their love, you were Created.
I Thank them for that special love that sent you to us,
You are a Joy in so many Lives.
My Little Zackie, I write this for you to let you know
how much you are loved.
You are my sun that gives me warmth on my face,
You are my moon that brightens the darkest sky.
As I sit and watch you grow, I wish you happiness and knowledge.
I wish for you many dreams come true.
And I wish that you will always know how much that I Love You.
You are My Zackie, I Thank the Heavens for You.
