Another year has gone by and my baby boy is turning TWO
A smile forms easily on my face and
warmth flows from my heart to my soul
As you embrace my legs and say "Mommy, I LOVE YOU".
Always remember that whether we are together playing in your
room or I am at work and we are apart
Mommy LOVES you too, with all of her HEART
It seems as if just yesterday you were so tiny, so fragile and
so small
In the Blink of an Eye, your clothes and shoes no longer fit
You are growing so big and tall
At this age, you are so innocent, carefree and naive
As the years go by, Mommy and Daddy will continue to provide you
With all of the tools and knowledge that you will need
To succeed in life, REACH FOR THE STARS
Your goals you will achieve
As I watch you play, I'm amazed at how independent you've grown
My baby boy is thinking, going to the potty, and has ideas of
his very own
As you run by me fast, as if you were in a race
I reach out and grab you, there is a big smile on your BEAUTIFUL
little face
Have fun, play and keep tugging at my heart with your spirit and
smile is all that you have to do
Everything else, Mommy and Daddy will take care of for you
I Blinked my eyes and now my Really is TWO.
