Sleeping beauty
Precious soul
Body motionless, face of tranquility
She stirs, but drifts back into her slumber
Her chest rises slowly with each breath she takes
Her eyelids flutter
Her dreams are secluded from intrusion
Beautiful she is, she is perfect
Memorize her every feature
Her every move
Only a moment frozen in time
Every moment matters
In spirit we are one person
I am a part of her
She is a part of me
Our blood streams the same current
Our hearts strike the same cadence
She is mine
She is mine to delight in
She is my memory
All in a hush
I marvel at her in slumber
