The Visitors Keep Coming
I've only been home for four days
Yet so many visitors have come
All these strange new faces
Oh, please protect me Mum
When I'm snuggled cozy and warm
Into the room they creep
And lots of eyes fix on me
As into my cot they peep
There's Auntie Kate; she says I'm great
Nannas and Grandads too
And they keep making funny noises at me
Ga-ga, gee-gee, goo-goo
Suddenly another face looms down
But this one I recognise
It's my Daddy home from work
What a lovely surprise!
