Oh, no! I'm stuck!

I've taught myself a new trick
I couldn't believe my luck
I flipped onto my tummy
But then I just got stuck!

Why is it that Mummy and Daddy
Can stand up and walk around?
They make it look so easy
But I just can't get off the ground!

I waved my arms and legs about
With all the energy I could spare
I pushed and pulled till I was tired
But still didn't get anywhere!

So for now I'll rely on Mummy
To carry me to where I want to be
But soon I'll be off all by myself
And then there'll be no stopping me!
