Time goes slowly when you are waiting for AF (Aunt Flow, your
period) to arrive. I am expecting her hopefully no earlier than Thursday or
no later than Sunday. We had a good, lazy weekend. Larry's mother and her
fiance didn't end up coming for their visit as she was sick and he had to
work. Don't know when we'll be able to coordinate another visit, although
we will see them in November as they are getting married on the 21st. Larry
and I went to Ithaca yesterday, we walked around and ate Sri Lankan food.
It was really good, I'm getting more adventurous about trying new dishes in
my old age, I guess. I didn't have to travel to Albany today as there is no
class due to Rosh Hashanah, yay, I am sick of school already. I counted up
and there are like 83 days till this semester is over, sigh, what a long
time that seems like. I have a bunch of errands to do today but am
procrastinating going out in the world. I didn't get up until 11 a.m.
today, a rainy, lazy day I guess.
Not much is going on on the baby front, just waiting for this cycle
to end and the next to begin. If I get my period between Thursday the 24th
and Sunday the 27th and then ovulate 13 days later that would put ovulation
between October 6th and the 9th. I've already warned Larry that we'll be
baby dancing (bd'ing) on days 9-14 for good measure. Some people say you
should only try every other day but others say that the more encounters the
better so I'm going with that philosophy. I suppose some of the fun is in
the trying :-) . I did buy a pregnancy journal on Saturday, the kind where
you keep track of doctors appointments and your eating etc. I feel like I'm
pretty prepared for this baby to be conceived at least I'll have all of the
books and journals at the ready when I need them.
Ok, I've got to get motivated and go to the bank and post office
etc. If I find a big burst of energy I may go to Boscov's and try on a dress
for my MIL's wedding. I saw a nice one there the other day. Maybe by the
next entry I will be on to my next cycle and raring to go. Keep your
fingers crossed for me.
