Well, AF arrived today which means we are finally on to the cycle
during which we can start trying to conceive, yay. Other than her arrival
we had a pretty uneventful day. We slept in, picked up the house a bit and
then ran some errands. We went to Boscov's to look for a dress for me for
my Mother-in-law's wedding but didn't find anything. Went to Priceless Kids
(which is this inexpensive kids clothing store) because they were having a
sale and we were looking for stuff for my niece, Lexi, but again we didn't
find anything. Then we went to the grocery store along with every other
person in the county. It was really busy and a pain in the butt. I was
practically run over in the canned vegetable aisle by an old lady who was a
little too excited to see Del Monte on sale. Boy were we glad to get home.
We spent the evening cleaning scallions. I had my first garden this
summer (on my deck) and I grew a LOT of scallions. I just harvested them
all because we've been getting frost at night already. Anyone got any ideas
of what to do with oodles of scallions? I told Larry I'd be slipping them
in all our meals till they are gone. Guess I'll leave them out of the
morning cereal though.
So, now I'm on cycle 1 of trying to conceive. I always ovulate on
day 13 so that would be Thursday, October 8th. I've warned Larry to be
prepared as I'll be attacking him from Monday the 5th through Friday the 9th
for good measure. He didn't sound too upset about that. Good thing. So
keep your fingers crossed that I'll be first time lucky. My sister was so
maybe I'll follow in her footsteps (although I hope I don't follow in her
footsteps where morning sickness is concerned since she was sick for most of
the 9 months). Well, off to bed, only 12 more days till ovulation...
