Here we are at the doorstep of the New Year. Yea…I can't put my finger on it
but this year and last for that matter, Christmas and New Year's were more of
a bother than that magical time that it has been. I enjoyed myself but it was
a lot of work!!! Olivia is so "over stimulated" (to use a 90's catch phrase)
that she doesn't know what to do with herself and neither do we. We had
decided to give up our New Year's plans and stay home. We didn't do much. We
went out with the baby to an Uno's restaurant, had an early dinner and were
all in bed at 10:30 and missed the ball drop. We are true parents of young
children…
Baby number two is doing well. He is getting stronger every day and the kicks
are getting more attention from me. We go to the OB next week on Friday. I
may call to get an appointment a little earlier. I just feel a bit off…of
course it could have something to do with being almost 8 months pregnant (or
in my case that would be 21 months. I included the hormone filled 5 months of
breast feeding. I think you are still hormonally pregnant at this time, you
just have the added advantage of being able to see your feet…hopefully),
It gives new meaning to feeling as big as an elephant, I feel as pregnant as
one too…all 20 something months!
