Almost half way there! I had my monthly prenatal visit today. I think I'm
losing my mind! When I got to the doctor's office, they told me that my
appointment was YESTERDAY! I don't know how I got that mixed up. Must be
the pregnancy induced forgetfulness! My doctor wasn't working that day, so
I had to see another doctor for my appointment. I was just glad that they
could squeeze me in. The doctor I got to see was very nice - a male
doctor. I prefer a woman doctor, but all he had to do was feel my belly to
check where my uterus is. It's kind of funny. I could never have this
doctor as my regular GYN because he's young and good looking! Isn't that
funny? It's like, just because a man is younger than most doctor's and is
good looking, I would be so embarrassed to have him examine me at a GYN
appointment! I'd rather have some old guy do it!
Anyway, my appointment went well. They said that if everything keeps
progressing this well, that they see no need for an ultrasound. I kind of
want one, but if that's the case, then I can do without. Will wants to
know the sex of the baby so badly! It would be nice to put a name to this
baby and start calling him or her by their name instead of "the baby" or
"it". But, I can wait. As impatient as I am, I think I'll do OK.
The baby has been pretty active. It's a great feeling - to feel the baby
move inside of you. I look forward to it every day. It's just reassurance
that the little tyke is doing OK.
Well, I think I'll call it quits for today. More next week!
