Kiley's Pregnancy Journal
- Pregnancy Week Sixteen

18 Weeks Pregnant

Well, it's official - I AM A MARRIED WOMAN! It's been so silly calling Will my husband. We both are getting a big kick out of it. He calls me Wifey-Pooh. Anyway, the wedding was wonderful - nothing went wrong believe it or not! Which was amazing considering the short amount of time we had to plan it! When we decided to change the date from June to January, we basically left ourselves about a month to plan the entire thing. Talk about a whirlwind! But we pulled it off and we had a little over 80 guests. It all happened so fast, I don't feel like I had the opportunity to just savor the moment.

I have been feeling the baby move pretty regularly lately. Maybe a few times a week. I'm sure I would feel more movement, but I'm not paying close attention most of the time. I felt a lot of movement while I was on the plane. Maybe the baby was excited to take it's first plane ride! I felt really tired most of the time I was on vacation. Now it seems that I'm perking up a bit - figures! I've had nausea here and there and a lot of dizziness. Headaches too have been killing me.

I can't seem to sleep anymore through the night, which is unusual for me. I just toss and turn all night. I find myself laying on my back a lot which I know I'm not supposed to do. Maybe subconsciously I wake myself up at night to turn back to my side. I don't seem to drag too much in the morning though, which is good.

I missed my Kitty while we were gone! She was really mad at us when we walked in the door because we left her for a whole week! We had a friend of ours housesit, but I don't think she is a cat person, so I doubt she snuggled with our cat. Kitty needs to snuggle! But after about an hour, she was loving and wouldn't leave our side. She slept under the covers by my belly the entire night! Probably another reason I had trouble sleeping :o)

Anyway, I have a doctor's appointment next week, so I'll write more then. Until then, take care!
