I love repeating the miracle of my children being born. With my first child, Jayme, I was pregnant for 36 weeks, gained 17 lbs., and gave birth in less than an hour after labor began. H ewas born February 16, 1992 at 8:15 p.m. 6 lbs 3oz.
2 years later, I concieved again. This time I miscarried for no given reason. I went to the hospital, a nurse confirmed that I was indeed pregnant, and in the process of miscarrying the fetus. And I was simply sent home. No treatment, no D&C, nothing, just sent home.
2 years later, I decided to attempt to have another child. I wanted a girl. I began to see an OB/GYN specialist after a year of unsuccessful conception. She decided to give me an artificial D&C. The day I went in to be examined and recieve the artificial D&C, I was given a pregnancy test. POSITIVE. We were overjoyed!
This time I gained 52 lbs. My baby was due July 4th. (I had been to the doctor and he had asked to "please carry this baby for just 10 more days and we will be in the safe zone")On June 10th my water broke at 11 pm., (11 days after my doctors visit) I was in labor for 15 hours. At 1 pm, the next day, June 11th, my husband could see my baby's head crowning, but she wasn't going any farther. She had been stuck there for some time as it was. The doctor called my husband into the hall and told him that the baby was post-partum (face up) and she was in distress. She was stuck. He asked my huband to sign for me to have an emergency c-section. My husband signed and the doctor told him he was going to wait a few minutes and let me rest. When my husband came back into the room, it was just me, him and my mom. He didn't tell me about the c-saction. He knew I wanted to have her natural. A few minutes later I looked at my husband and simply said "The baby is coming" and she did. We were alone. My mother went for help and my husband was able to help deliver our daughter. Tabith Rene. Born June 11, 1997 at 2pm. 6 lbs. 6 oz. in Branson, Missouri, USA!
