I went into labor on Sunday at 3:00 a.m. in the morning. We got to the hospital at 4:00 a.m.. My contractions quit after I got hooked up to the monitor. I rocked in the rocking chair for a good hour and a half and boy did those contractions flare up (thank god they were going to send me home) my doctor came in and checked me and said admit this one she is 4cm. Well they didn't have a room ready they were all full, so i had my epidural put in right in the testing room. The doctor came in and checked me later and Iwas 7 1/2cm so they set up the testing room to deliver me and I was like no way I'm not delivering in here. Well low and behold a room became available and I was transferred. I got in the room and my dialating stalled a little bit so I had to lay on my side. Ultimatley I fully dialated and the baby was face up and wouldn't push past the pelvic bone, so after 3 1/2 hours of pushing I cried for a c-section,my back hurt so bad,and the doctor coudn't pull her head past the bone when I pushed. And finally at 2:41 p.m. my baby girl was born by c-section.
