I went to the hospital at 8 o'clock on the 21st of December to have my cervix gelled, by 10 o'clock I was having contractions every three minutes, they checked dilation and I was only dilated 1/2 a centimeter, every hour they checked but my cervix wouldnt open..my blood pressure went sky high so I had to lay on my right side to keep it down mind you while contractions where still 3 minutes apart, I had 2 epidurals and they did nothing, they waited 31 hours...and I was only dilated 4 centimeters they didnt want me to get a c-section because I am only 18, my midwife felt so bad, she ws trying to pull my cervix down because it was so post-terior, but the doctor waited it out...I told them take him out..So I signed the papers and they took me to the O.R. I was having a c-section I got a spinal and they pulled Jahmir right out, 10lbs 9ozs head wasnt even in the birth canal ...but it was well worth the pain and the wait!
