Alot of complications!
By Carrie

I went for my weekly checkup on May 10 (my due date). My midwife told me that everyhthing was normal and that I would have an easy delivery. She also said that my baby would weigh 7 lbs. Well, she was wrong about everything. I had to go back there the next day because I thought that my water broke. It didnt but they told me that I had preeclampsia and had to be induced immediatley. While I was in labor I heard my midwife tell the doctor that I have a bicornuate uterus and that my baby was transverse and posterior. This was the first time that she ever mentioned anything about this. I was in labor for 30 hours, three of them just pushing. I don't remember much after my 9lb. 10oz. beautiful baby girl was born but my doctor told me that I had a retained placenta and had to have emergency surgery to remove it. I have to have two units of blood. All together I was in the hospital for two weeks. After I got released the first time I had to go back because I had a very high fever and endometritis. I glad to say that now I feel alot better and I have a smart, healthy, beautiful 7 month old.
