I was really happy until I was about 8 weeks along. I started bleeding and having trouble then. Things settled down again until December 15 2001. I was about 19 weeks along. I started bleeding and having contractions. My placenta had a tear in it and I was put on bed rest and was in and out of the hospital. At about midnight on January 29th when I was 25 weeks along I went into labor. I went to the hospital again but this time I was already 4 centimeters dialated and 100% efaced. I was going to be having my baby soon.They tryed to stop my labor but could not. Katie was breach and so they were trying to give me a c-section when I told them she was coming right then. They had time to get the cathadir out and in about 3 pushes she was born. Katie came into this world weighing only 1 pound and 6 ounces, and being 12 inches long. After a 104 day stay in the hospital my baby got to come home with me. I never knew a preemie so small would be such a fighter. Now she is doing good and is almost 6 months old and weighs 9 pounds.
