Organize Them

Once you have the coupons clipped you need to organize them. You can find coupon organizers that are very helpful and allow you to organize your coupons by food group, alphabetical order, or in whatever order helps you the most. When you have the coupons organized it is really easy to find them when it comes time to check out.

Make a List of Coupon Items

The most important thing is to build your grocery list around the coupons you have. For example, if you have coupons for ground beef then you need to buy ground beef that week. Even if you don’t plan on cooking it you can put it in the freezer. The more food you have in your home and your freezer increase the likelihood of you cooking at home rather than heading out to a restaurant on busy nights.

At first, dealing with coupons and grocery lists may seem a little bit of a pain. However, it’s a pain your wallet can get used to because you can easily save $20 a week if not more.
